Volunteers make our Online Auction happen! Each spring, PBS Wisconsin hosts its annual auction fundraiser. More than 800 businesses donate thousands of items that are sold online to raise funding that supports PBS Wisconsin’s programming and activities.

About Online Bids Team

Transfer paper bids from phone bank into the WPT auction website for Art, Tonight, and Showcase Boards. Verify bid amount and key in bidder information and bids accurately and quickly.

Online Bids Team Job Duties

Enter phone bank bids for Tonight, Art and Antiques and Showcase board items into WPT online auction website.
Confirm that item, bid amount and contact information is correct before entering.
Direct questions to your manager as needed.

Online Bids Team Job Skills and Requirements

Friendly and positive attitude.
Comfortable keyboarding and entering information into an online webform.
Good communication and pronunciation skills.
Legible handwriting.
Aural acuity to hear and speak with viewers in an environment that has noise/distractions.
Can work efficiently in a sometimes noisy and hectic environment.
Ability to discern when to ask your manager for assistance.
Volunteers 16 and older may participate.
