Volunteering for Thank-You Gift Packing at August Membership Drive

Membership drives are crucial fundraising events for PBS Wisconsin. During select times over the course of the year, PBS Wisconsin airs special programming designed to raise funds for the station. Volunteers answer calls and assist viewers with setting up their donation and selecting a thank you gift.

About Thank-You Gift Packing

Work with a team of volunteers and WPT staff to package thank-you gifts to send to members who have contributed to the station.

Thank-You Gift Packing Job Duties

Package thank-you gift items to be sent to members.
Verify contents of individual packages and compare to packing list.
Seal packages and stick address labels.

Thank-You Gift Packing Job Skills and Requirements

Strong attention to detail..
Comfortable working in a team oriented atmosphere.
Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
Physical agility and visual acuity to work with your hands.
Ability to package and move physical thank-you gift items.
Ability to see and clearly read documents.
Physically able to stand, walk, stoop, squat and/or bend for the duration of your shift.
Able to work carefully and accurately in fast paced environment.
Judgement to know when to ask for assistance when packing items.
Volunteers 14 or older may participate.
