The WPT Auction is our biggest volunteer event of the year! Come and help us as we transform our studios into our Auction set. You’ll spend the day hammering and constructing our set under the guidance of WPT staff.

About Set Assembly

Work in teams to assemble bid boards, set up phone bank, put together display carts, lay flooring and set up Volunteer Café and Pick Up & Pay areas.

Set Assembly Job Duties

Assemble bid boards.
Set up phone bank stage.
Put down flooring in studio.
Hang streamers.
Assemble item display carts.
Set up tables and chairs in Volunteer Café and Pick Up & Pay.
Assist with clean up.
Direct questions to your captain as needed

Set Assembly Job Skills and Requirements

Physically able to stand and walk for the duration of your shift.
Ability to regularly reach your arms over your head to perform certain job duties.
Balance and agility to climb a step ladder.
Know and follow safety practices regarding lifting and use of step ladder and other equipment.
Experience operating a cordless drill and working with other hand tools recommended.
Able to routinely and safely lift, carry and move equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
Physical agility and visual acuity to work with your hands.
Ability to discern when to ask your captain for assistance.
Volunteers age 12 (with adult supervision) and older may participate.
