About Set Detailer

Work in teams to place the finishing touches to the Auction set. Duties include painting the phone bank and bid boards, hanging signs, setting out supplies and laying directional tape on the floor.

Set Detailer Job Duties

  • Paint phone bank and bid boards.
  • Laying directional tape on floor.
  • Hanging signs throughout building.
  • Placing board supplies in designated locations in studio.
  • Assist with clean up.
  • Direct questions to your supervisor as needed.

Set Detailer Job Skills and Requirements

  • Physically able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and/or bend for the duration of your shift.
  • Ability to regularly reach your arms over your head to perform certain job duties.
  • Balance and agility to climb a step ladder.
  • Know and follow safety practices regarding lifting and use of step ladder and other equipment.
  • General understanding and practical application of basic painting techniques.
  • Familiarity with operating a cordless drill and using hand tools recommended, but not necessary.
  • Able to routinely and safely lift, carry and move equipment weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Physical agility and visual acuity to work with your hands.
  • Ability to discern when to ask your captain for assistance.
  • Volunteers age 12 (with adult supervision) and older may participate.
