30 Minute Music Hour LogoJoin us in the studio Tuesday, April 1 to experience a live taping of 30 Minute Music Hour. The following three talented groups from Wisconsin will perform live, and if you want to be in the audience, all you have to do is ask. Tickets are totally free. Just send an email to [email protected] to request tickets.

Tuesday’s a work day…we know. All three performances will be streamed live on the 30MMH page and later added to the video archive.

Evan Murdock and the Imperfect Strangers
12 p.m. (live online at 12:30 p.m.)
This self-proclaimed rag-tag amalgam of ruffians and roustabouts from Madison performs Midwestern Americana with a pinch of sass.

 

Klassik with Fresh Cut Collective
2:30 p.m. (live online at 3 p.m.)
Milwaukee artists Klassik and Fresh Cut Collective are coming off a big 2013 in which Klassik was named best rap/hip-hop artist of the year by the Wisconsin Area Music Industry. Already in 2014, Klassik and FCC have performed at SXSW and are featured prominently on MKE: a music sampler.

 

Mama Digdown’s Brass Band
4:30 p.m. (live online at 5 p.m.)
For more than two decades Mama Digdown’s has traveled the world spreading the gospel of New Orleans brass band music. Lucky for Wisconsin, they call Madison home.
