The Magic Tree
Two great rivers passed on either side of a far-off barren land. These rivers were dangerous places for the people and their herds because of the many wild beasts that went down to the water`s edge to quench their thirst. Standing under the shade of a huge tree, the only tree to be found in that vast plain, an abandoned young boy realized he was all alone in the world. He could think of nothing to do but wail, "How will I get by all alone? I`m only a child. What can I do now?"
