New Deal
In October 1932, Franklin Delano Roosevelt toured America, campaigning for the Presidency. In the face of the worst depression American had ever known, he offered hope, promising a New Deal for the American people. This program explores the WPA (Works Progress Administration), and the TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) projects implemented after the election of Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1933.
