Volunteering for Presenter Lounge Attendant at Garden & Green Living Expo

Garden & Green Living Expo is a community educational event and fundraiser hosted by PBS Wisconsin and the UW-Madison - Extension Horticulture Program. This three-day event celebrates the latest trends in gardening and landscaping with more than one hundred free educational seminars and demonstrations.

About Presenter Lounge Attendant

Warmly welcome presenters to Garden Expo in upstairs lounge (board room). Answer basic questions about the show, offer presenters a place to store their items, offer beverages to presenters and keep lounge area tidy.

Warmly welcome presenters to Garden Expo.
Offer presenter space to store items.
Answer basic questions about the show.
Offer coffee and water to presenters.
Keep lounge area tidy.
Direct questions to your captain as needed.

Presenter Lounge Attendant Job Skills and Requirements

Friendly and positive demeanor
Strong communication and pronunciation skills.
Enjoy working in a people focused environment.
Aural acuity to hear and speak with visitors in an environment that has noise/distractions.
Ability to discern when to ask your captain for assistance.
Volunteers 16 and older may participate.
