Once Upon a Christmas Cheery in the Lab of Shakhashiri started as a recruitment tool for undergraduate chemistry classes, but over four decades it’s grown to become a beloved staple of Madison holiday culture.
Each year, Shakhashiri welcomes audiences, young and old, to explore the exciting, weird and sometimes explosive world of chemistry. He also brings musicians, fellow professors and even Bucky Badger to the stage to share in the fun.
