I know it’s not even Thanksgiving yet, but I really wanted to share the holiday program schedule early to remind you of this week’s specials. The festivities begin Thanksgiving Day with Curious George: A Very Monkey Christmas (see Erik’s post from Nov. 19) and roll right through December with an array of heartwarming concert specials. And, in January we wrap the holiday season when Austin City Limits and Great Performances ring in the new year. Peruse the entire schedule below, and whether you catch one program – or all of them! – be sure to take time to spread some holiday cheer this season.

I was very disappointed tonight as according to the TV channel listing in our paper Celtic Women was to come on at 7 PM. Apparently you changed the schedule and it aired at 5:30 instead. Even your listing shows that the Daniel O’Donnel show was to air at 5:30. Could you please let me know when this program may air again. Thank you.
Hi Carrie,
Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately we did make a change to Saturday’s schedule and moved Celtic Woman to the time Christmas with Daniel O’Donnell was set to air. I’m sorry to say that these programs are currently not scheduled to air again, but I can tell you Celtic Woman will likely be seen again in March on WPT. While the TV channel listings in your local paper are mostly accurate, we do have to submit the schedule to the paper about a month before shows are broadcast, and changes sometimes occur. Please consider using our new schedule tool at the following link below to see the most up-to-date schedule. Again, sorry for the change, and thank you for watching WPT.
