I watched episode 1 yesterday on the net. How do I get to see episode 2 on the net? Thank you.
David
Hi David- You should be able to find all the episodes under the “full episodes” heading on this link: http://video.wpt.org/program/roosevelts/
WORTHLESS, NOTHING WORKS… ONLY COULD WATCH !# MINUTES…
Hello- I’m not sure what the problem in video viewing is. Are you trying to watch in the video box in this post? Perhaps the video at the WPT Video Portal will work better. Find all the episodes now at: http://video.wpt.org/program/roosevelts/
Wrong.
Why will the video not play??
Hello Marilyn- I’m not sure what the problem in video viewing is. Are you trying to watch in the video box in this post? Perhaps the video at the WPT Video Portal will work better. Find all the episodes now at: http://video.wpt.org/program/roosevelts/
Tonight Parts 1 through 5 are posted. Will Parts 6 and 7 also be posted on WPT link?
Hi Lee,
All parts (1-7) are available for online viewing now through Sept. 28. Visit this link http://video.wpt.org/program/roosevelts/ and scroll down the page to the Full Episodes section to find parts 1-7. Thanks!
When will the Roosevelt’s be on Netflix?
Hey David. Unfortunately I couldn’t find an answer to your question. The film’s official press release makes no mention of Netflix, but claims the following: “This film will also be available for digital download on iTunes, Amazon, GooglePlay, Vudu, Xbox, Target Ticket and Nook.”
No, stop linking the same page please. The videos are broken on roku and on google chrome OS, at the very least. Several attempts, through pbs.org, as well as wisconsin’s. The links broken. Please address the issue. It offers to give better quality stream if one were to “sign in below”, though no link to create account or sign in. If you try to view the link on roku, ut just loads to 100% and then you stare at a 100% filled loading bar until the roku times out. On chrome OS, its says “Cannot load MU308: crossdomain access denied.”
Hi Cole, thank you for your feedback. I’ve experienced the same timeout error on Roku, but the video has always played on the second or third try. PBS hosts all the video and we will make sure they see your comment. Regarding the stream quality when watching through a web browser at video.wpt.org — if you have a pop-up blocker enabled, it may prevent the log in window from opening. When you click “Sign in to access higher-quality streaming” you should see sign in links for Google, Facebook and PBS. Click on any of these and a new log in window will open. Again, thank you for the feedback, and sorry for the trouble you’re having.
I am very busy and just missed the Roosevelt viewings. Is it possible I can stream it elsewhere? I don’t want to spend the $40 or so to purchase the DVDS.
Thank you for any help you can provide.
Hi Rich. Unfortunately I am not aware of other streaming options. It appears the series is only available for purchase on DVD or online. I compared several vendors and each is charging $40 for the series. Individual episodes cost $6.99 each from iTunes, Amazon and others.
Just as I was getting engrossed in the series, you withdrew them from online streaming. Without warning. You really pulled the rug out from under us. A google search reveals dozens of sites whos information is now meaningless and misleading. Is there a copyright issue? Lesser programs tay on the pubs site for what seems like many months.
Why stop the stream for episode 1?
I was in hospital and finally am able to go and watch it and now I can not this stinks!
This is PBS’ doing and not one local affiliate. Because PBS is a not-for-profit they air educational television for free and then rely on donations and purchases so they can continue the great work they do.
Check with your local library. Many libraries have documentaries by PBS and other companies. I am in the same boat as I have only watched episode 1 and will be checking my local library.
Will the Roosevelts series be replayed on PBS or anywhere?
Thanks,
Randy
Hi Randy,
We have not schedule any replays of The Roosevelts yet, but we will be sure to email you when we schedule an encore broadcast. Thanks for the question.
I scheduled to record all episodes of The Roosevelts. A great series! But episode 6 (likely do to a time change) only recorded half the episode. any way to get the whole episode? Will it be replayed. thanks
Hey Don,
I’m sorry to hear about your troubles. As of now, there are no future broadcasts of episode 6 (“The Common Cause”). Check your local library for “The Roosevelts” on DVD, or purchase the episode for $6.99 from iTunes. Alos, I’ll pass your email along to WPT Audience Services so we can notify you next time we air this episode.
