Lady Mary and Baby George
A while back we told you 5 Things You Don’t Know about Downton Abbey. Admittedly you probably didn’t need to know those things, especially the name of Mrs. Hughes’ wig. But, ahead of the Season 4 premiere, The Telegraph wrote up the 10 Things You Need to Know about Downton Abbey. Here are some of the highlights:
- Last season’s finale (The Christmas Special in the UK) was like “receiving a nice, shiny gift and then opening it to find a rotten fish.”
- Downton’s first black character is rumored to have his eye on Lady Mary, though we’ve seen a preview that suggests he’s looking elsewhere for love.
- Baby George is played by one of two twins.
- Downton is popular (you already knew that). More than 12 million people watched Season 3 in the U.S. alone. An estimated global population of 120 million people have watched.
- Virginia Woolf will make a brief appearance in Season 4.
