One of the most fun things about watching Downton Abbey is getting to observe the subtle evolution from season to season of things like fashion, decor, manners and technology. The characters are the same (well, many of them…poor Matthew!) but almost everything around them has changed since we were introduced to the Crawley family of 1912.
Last season, a major theme was the introduction of electricity in the kitchen. On Sunday, another noticeable change will occur when Downton Abbey gets its first radio. Check out this cheeky scene from Episode 2, which airs Sunday, Jan. 11.
