Big World of Insects, Spiders, Bugs[series info]
Mason Wasps: insect Builders
Mason wasps are solitary insects unlike other wasps and bees that are social insects. Watch as a female mason wasp builds a nest where she will lay an egg. Next, see the wasp hunting caterpillars, which she stuffs into the nest for the larva to feed on. The young wasp larva will have plenty of fresh food to eat as it matures.
