Hidden Homeless

Hidden Homeless

Homeless children are those who have no stable, consistent place to live. Many of these children are homeless because their families are homeless. Some have left home to escape abusive situations. Some have been abandoned by their families. Homeless children may be referred to as "unaccompanied youth" (those living without adult supervision), "runaways" (youth who have run away from their homes), or "throwaways" (children who have been forced, by their parents, to leave their homes). This documentary examines the plight of several homeless youth; one who lived in an abandoned bus, another with a mother who was incarcerated, and looks at the services that are available to help them.
