The New England Region
Looks at New England`s rich history and geographical significance. The first European settlers, mostly from England, explored the region in the early 1600s. The New England states played a major part in the Revolutionary War. Its location along the Atlantic coast makes New England a major seaport for the fishing industry. States covered in this program: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
