The Southwest Region
Studies the historical figures, commerce, capital cities and points of interest in the Southwestern states. This region was first explored by the Spanish during the mid 1500s. The discovery of this region resulted in the growth of old and new industries such as oil, timber, mining and cattle ranching. States covered in this program: Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.
