The Mountian Region
Studies the historical figures, commerce, capital cities and points of interest in the Mountain West Region. The formation of the Rocky Mountains by the glaciers is explained. The Spanish explorers came through this region in the mid 1500s. Pioneers traveled through this region by way of the Oregon Trail. This region is knows for its natural beauty and abundance of national parks. States covered in this program: Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming.
