The Eastern Canadian Provinces
Studies the historical figures, commerce, capital cities and points of interest in the Eastern Canadian Provinces. Explorers of this region include the Vikings, as early as 900 A.D. and European explorers from France and Britain in the early 1600s. Located along the shores of the Atlantic Ocean and the Great Lakes, this area is a major seaport for the fishing industry and the importing and exporting of consumer goods. Provinces covered in this program: New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, and Quebec.
