Kenya Composting: Recycling Trash into Cash
The resourceful women of a slum in Nairobi have found a way to turn pollution into a commodity by picking vegetable waste from the dumps and composting it into valuable fertilizer. The two tons of fertilizer they produce each month provide enough money to help run a nursery school for the community`s children.
