Herd About the Prairie
In 2005 Joe Halko of Choteau, Montana, created 8 foot-wide bison statue molds, weighing 100 pounds each. Forty artists were chosen by a jury to paint 39 full size bison and one calf. The decorative bison made their formal debut at the Fargo Marathon, and now they can be seen on WPT.
