The Battle of Wisconsin Heights
Patrick Jung, Associate Professor, General Studies, Milwaukee School of Engineering, joins University Place Presents host Norman Gilliland to discuss the military leadership of Black Hawk at the Battle of Wisconsin Heights. Black Hawk and his 120 warriors held off an estimated 700 American militia volunteers allowing the women, children and elderly under his protection to escape.
