Leonardo`s fame as an artist is based on one of the smallest oeuvres in the world of art. He seems not to have wanted to finish many of his works, and he was always experimenting with methods that damaged some of his greatest projects. Yet, the mysterious, haunting human and natural images he created are world icons of what masterpieces are all about.
