Measuring: Metric

Students learn about the metric units used to measure length, volume and mass. Interesting examples from real life give students a sense of metric size- from very small to very large. Also included is a discussion of where (geographically) and why the metric system is used in place of the standard system of measurement, and information on making conversions.
