Cultural Horizons of North America[series info]

Everywhere, Everyone

Includes three segments that encourage students to think about culture in new ways. The family culture segment interviews a family living in a homeless shelter to show why family culture has more to do with shared traditions than where you live. The program also explores deaf culture and illustrates how people belong to more than one cultural group. A segment on sports team culture features members of Runners Against Drunk Driving who belong to the Ho-Chunk nation.
