Free at Last? Wwii and After

World War II created weapons and wealth of unprecedented scale. But, soon the McCarthy political witch hunts will recall the Salem witch trials. At the same time, the Civil Rights Movement also begins, which reaches its mythic summit with Martin Luther King`s "I have a dream" speech, and its political peak with the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act. But, political and social conflicts haven`t stopped; the quest for equality and freedom continues.
