After a lot of speculation about candidacies, and “fake” candidacies to ensure primary contests, the list is now complete and official. That is, as the Government Accountability Board notes, unless there are challenges.
But barring any further drama over who’s running, you can learn who’s on the ballot for the upcoming recall elections (primary May 8, general June 5) on WisconsinVote.org, our election Web site produced with Wisconsin Public Radio.
Check out the candidates section for profiles and links to their Web sites. Most candidates have Web sites, though the so-called fake ones who put themselves on the ballots just to ensure there would be a primary tend to keep a low profile.
Usually this information is up and available a few months before the voting takes place, but not during this lightspeed election season. Check it out before you head to the polls.
