Goodbye 2011

This week “Here and Now” is pre-empted by holiday programming on WPT…so you won’t see us Friday at 7:30 p.m. as usual.
We return next week, Friday, December 30, however, for a special year-in-review “Here and Now” program. We’ve been working hard on a report titled “Wisconsin: Torn in Two.” It re-lives the political events of 2011. Working on it reminded us just how much has happened and how intense it all was and continues to be with the recall efforts now underway.
Governor Scott Walker also joins us for our January 30th program to look back and ahead at 2012. He’ll be followed by Assembly Minority Leader, Peter Barca and Mary Bell of the state teacher’s union.

Oh and this note — this blog is on hiatus next week and will return in the new year.
