Natureworks
Each "NatureWorks" program introduces a basic concept such as habitat, adaptation, or biomes and examines that concept by focusing on one animal or plant. Student researchers explore and observe with scientists and naturalists, and then collect and analyze data and review their findings. The "NatureWorks" web site Online Teacher`s Guides include lesson objectives, vocabulary, pre-viewing and post-viewing activities, a suggested hands-on lesson, additional web resources and book lists.
