Murdoch Mysteries
Based on the critically acclaimed mysteries of novelist Maureen Jennings, "Murdoch Mysteries" follows the adventures of a young detective, William Murdoch, in Toronto, Canada in the 1890's. Murdoch solves a series of challenging murder cases using emerging and progressive forensic techniques. His unconventional approach often elicits ridicule from fellow officers and skepticism from his boss, Chief Inspector Brackenreid. However, the beautiful and insightful coroner Dr. Julia Ogden is his chief ally in the struggle against tradition and prejudice, and together they prove a formidable team.
