ENGAGE! State, Tribal, Local, Government
"ENGAGE! State, Tribal, and Local Government" is designed to teach high school students about the three aspects of Wisconsin government: state, tribal, and local. This series shows how these forms of government impact the lives of their citizens, the different structures in each type, and the cooperation it takes on a daily basis to do the will and work of the people of Wisconsin. Included in this series is a program dedicated to professional development, offering insights and encouragements for classroom use. The ENGAGE! website offers activities for teachers, ideas for incorporating current events and video into classroom curriculum, and links to the Wisconsin Model Academic Standards and 21st century skills. All video programs, plus web-only video profiles of state, local and tribal officials, are available on the series website.
